Anderson School District Two is using the Salvation Army as a resource to offer Christmas assistance for those in need. If you would like to register online, please scan the code on the flyer and text the number listed for any questions/problems. The deadline has been extended until Friday, October 25th at midnight.

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month! BES is honored to celebrate the wonderful and unique abilities of our students. Choosing kindness is the bridge to a more inclusive and compassionate world in which every child deserves the chance to thrive.

We wrapped up our One School, One Book! To celebrate, students were chosen to hang out and read to a variety of therapy dogs. A big thank you to the SC Therapy Dog Group for bringing them for our students to enjoy!

We are very thankful we were able to serve our community emergency food packs this morning! #beltonstrong
We will be handing out Emergency Food Packs tomorrow morning (Thursday 10/3) from 10-11AM "drive thru style" along the front sidewalk of the school. These are free food items for our BES families that we will distribute until we run out.

We hope this message finds you safe and well. Thank you once again for your patience and support during this challenging time. Due to ongoing power outages and impassable roads from the storm, all schools in our district will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 3, and Friday, Oct. 4. These days will not be classified as eLearning days. With only one school currently having power, we believe these additional two days will allow for our electricity to be restored and provide our families and community the time to address their needs and support one another.
Please remember that Monday, Oct. 7, is already scheduled to be a school holiday, and Tuesday, Oct. 8, is a scheduled teacher workday. Therefore, students will return to school on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting one another. Stay safe!
