Tomorrow, Thursday, April 10th is our spring diagnostic test for ELA at HPMS! Students, please remember to bring a fully charged Chromebook, earbuds, and your absolute best effort tomorrow morning! It's going to be another great day! Go Cubs!

Thank you so much to all who supported our March of Dimes fundraiser at HPMS this year! This year, our students and staff were able to raise a grand total of $2429.29! Our Penny Wars concluded today with the 6th grade students taking the win! Despite this, all three grade levels did a fantastic job, raising $1002.63 in the Penny Wars alone! Go Cubs!

Congratulations to the Middle School Choirs of HPMS and BMS! These students completed their Concert Performance Assessment (CPA) yesterday, and they received a SUPERIOR WITH DISTINCTION rating! That is the highest possible rating that can be achieved! We are proud of these students and Director Lauren Owens!

There will be a car wash fundraiser this Saturday, 3/22 for 8th graders raising money for the field trip. It will take place at HPMS, 9AM-1PM. Tickets are $10. Please come out to support these students!

Parents, guardians, and rising 6th grade students are invited to HPMS next Thursday, March 27th for a visit to our school! We will open the doors at 5:30PM, and the event will last until 6:30PM. This will be a great opportunity to meet teachers, get information to prepare for next year, and tour the building. We look forward to seeing our future HPMS 6th Graders!

The HPMS FFA Spring Plant Sale is coming up soon, so mark your calendars! The sale will take place on April 10th and 11th from 3:30PM-5PM at the HPMS greenhouse. Thank you in advance for your support of our FFA and agricultural program!

We are excited to invite you to a special event hosted by our literacy team tomorrow, Wednesday, 3/5 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. We are having our family literacy night event, and we'd like for HPMS families to come enjoy free pizza from The Melt, participate in career-themed activities, join in on our fun cake walk, and try out the inflatable obstacle course! We look forward to seeing you there and sharing a great evening together. We hope to see you there!

Honea Path Middle ProTeam students worked hard in the month of February to raise money for the Crossroads Pregnancy Center in Greenwood as a part of the Baby Bottle Campaign. This organization provides support to individuals who are faced with the challenges often associated with unplanned pregnancies. Together, both ProTeam classes raised $639.02! We are so proud of this group and their dedication to service learning.
